The Faculty of Dentistry at King Abdulaziz University (KAU) has successfully concluded the administration of the American Dental Licensure Examination (ADEX). The closing session was attended by Prof. Abdulghani bin Ibrahim Mira, Dean of the Faculty, along with the faculty’s vice deans and technical program coordinators.

The event concluded with a feedback session on the exam process, followed by the awarding of certificates to 25 candidates, including dental interns and graduates of the Bachelor of Dental Surgery program. Prof. Mira also commended the members of the visiting ADEX delegation for their role in the program’s success and acknowledged the support and sponsorship of the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.
As part of the closing activities, Tareef Yousuf Alaama, President of King Abdulaziz University, welcomed the ADEX delegation in the presence of the Dean and vice deans of the Faculty of Dentistry. The meeting included a review of the three-day examination process, which featured advanced clinical assessments in prosthodontics, endodontics, periodontics, restorative dentistry, and technical simulation.

It is noteworthy that the Faculty of Dentistry at KAU is academically accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) and serves as an official international testing site for the ADEX exam outside the United States, a designation that reinforces the alignment of its academic outcomes with global professional standards
